A Motley Fool estimate says a $1,000 SpaceX investment could exceed $2,000 in five years, based on a 2031 revenue consensus of nearly $852 billion. That figure comes from four analyst forecasts, which range from $493 billion to slightly over $1 trillion.

The estimate applies a price-to-sales multiple of about 5, citing Tesla’s ratio around five years after its market debut, and assumes SpaceX’s diluted share count rises to nearly 13 billion. It yields projected market values of $2.47 trillion to $5 trillion and share prices of $190 to $384, with the consensus case at $4.26 trillion and $328 a share.

The article identifies Starlink and AI as near-term growth drivers. Starlink had 12 million subscribers last quarter, double the year-earlier figure, while connectivity revenue rose 66%. AI solutions and infrastructure revenue reached $2.19 billion in Q2, up from $475 million in Q1 and $311 million a year earlier; SpaceX also announced a $1.1 billion-a-month AI hosting deal.
