Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama said U.S. President Donald Trump raised concerns about yen weakness at his summit with Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. On Friday, Katayama and her U.S. counterpart Scott Bessent reaffirmed in a phone call that the yen's undervaluation was a matter of concern.
