Luis Hernandez, who is 8-0 and a Miami-Dade sheriff’s deputy, will face Sedriques Dumas at UFC Vegas 121 on Saturday after replacing injured Mickey Gall on short notice. Dumas is described as a convicted felon and has been arrested multiple times.
Hernandez earned a UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series two weeks before the bout. WEAR reported that Dumas had been arrested four times since joining the UFC. In April 2025, Dumas was charged with home invasion, battery and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon; the article says he settled that case in June. He is 1-4-1 in his last six fights.
