Leopard attack in Gujarat kills 6-year-old Prisha Solanki

Six-year-old Prisha Solanki was killed by a leopard on Sept. 23 while playing outside her home on a farm in Dedkiyal, Gujarat. Her body was found in nearby woodland; forest teams set eight cages and intensified patrols to locate the animal.

Witnesses told the Times of India and Press Trust of India that the leopard emerged from a grassy area, pounced on Prisha and dragged her away. Her uncle, Ketan Solanki, said her body was found about an hour later.
