Kyivstar said its Kyiv headquarters was hit on Sunday, with no casualties. Russia’s defence ministry said it struck a Vodafone Ukraine data centre; President Volodymyr Zelenskiy also said Russia hit a Kyiv data centre twice, injuring two children and an adult.

Vodafone Ukraine did not respond to a request for comment. Ukraine’s digital ministry said Russian strikes on data centres belonging to Ukrainian internet providers over the past week caused outages for about 100,000 households in Kyiv and the surrounding region. Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha wrote on Wednesday that Russia was targeting major data centres to disrupt information, and said rapid alerts about missile and drone threats save lives.
