Judge skipped a minor-league rehab assignment and moved from swinging to batting practice, live batting practice and his first game in four days. Klapisch writes that a Grade 2 calf strain requires two to four weeks of rest, possibly six, and says Judge could miss the rest of 2026.
Tampa Bay clinched the AL East with a 6-1 win in Tuesday’s nightcap after the teams split the doubleheader. Klapisch points to the late-inning contrast: the Rays are 15-6 when tied entering the seventh; the Yankees are 10-11.
