49ers tight end George Kittle called playing with new teammate Mike Evans a “dream come true,” saying Evans’ talent would work in any offense. Evans joined San Francisco on a three-year, $60.4 million deal after 12 seasons with Tampa Bay.
Kittle had two catches for 12 yards against the Rams in Week 1, then four catches for 80 yards in Week 2. Evans had about 50 receiving yards in each game as San Francisco opened the season 2-0.
