Keke Wyatt’s representatives say Henry County court documents show only a simple assault charge after her Sept. 20 arrest, disputing reports of aggravated assault, terroristic threats and child cruelty. USA Today reported she was released on a $1,050 bond on Sept. 22.
CBS Atlanta and The Georgia Gazette reported that Wyatt’s booking entry listed aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts, and misdemeanor third-degree cruelty to children. In a Sept. 25 statement on Wyatt’s Instagram, her representatives said she would address the matter through legal channels and asked that inaccurate claims, particularly those involving children, not be repeated as fact.
