Jets tight end Kenyon Sadiq returned to the Week 3 game against Detroit after leaving in the second quarter for evaluation in the medical tent. No diagnosis was reported; before exiting, he had two catches for 29 yards and a touchdown.
Dr. Jesse Morse wrote that Sadiq appeared to be hurt on the touchdown catch and speculated the issue could be related to Sadiq’s offseason sports hernia surgery. Morse also cited an August setback that caused Sadiq to miss most of the preseason; no link was confirmed.
