The Carolina Hurricanes erased a 5-1 deficit with five straight goals to beat the Nashville Predators 6-5 Thursday in Greensboro. Felix Unger Sorum scored the winner with three seconds left. Carolina improved to 2-1 in preseason, with one game remaining.
Logan Stankoven scored twice, while Jesperi Kotkaniemi added a goal and an assist; Juha Jaaska and Juuso Valimaki also scored. Goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov stopped 23 of 28 shots. Carolina closes its preseason Saturday in Nashville.
