A Reddit user says a notice lists Humana Basic Part D at $28.30 a month in 2027, up from $4.40 this year—a more than sixfold increase. It also lists the deductible rising from $615 to $700 and a $2,400 Part D out-of-pocket cap.
One Reddit commenter urged enrollees to read their Annual Notice of Change letters and reassess drug plans after Oct. 1, when the commenter said 2027 plan information would be available on Medicare.gov.
Enrollees may also want to check whether their medicines remain covered and have moved to a different formulary tier. A Reddit commenter noted that purchases at cash prices or with discount cards generally do not count toward a Part D deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.
