Gregg Popovich married Mary Barth Budenholzer in a private Texas ceremony on Sept. 16, according to a marriage license filed in Bexar County and reported by TMZ. Budenholzer is the former wife of Mike Budenholzer, Popovich’s former Spurs assistant.
Popovich was previously married to Erin from 1976 until her death in April 2018. He retired as the Spurs’ head coach in May 2025 and transitioned to the team’s president of basketball operations role.
