Chris Gotterup and Cam Young won both of their Saturday matches for the U.S. at the Presidents Cup, beating Nick Taylor and Corey Conners in four-ball before a 6&4 foursomes victory over Adam Scott and Sungjae Im. Gotterup said playing with Young was fun.
Gotterup joked that if he could hit Young’s shots all the time, he would be pretty good at golf. Young called the result “great to get one on the board” and said having the same partner in both rounds made the short turnaround easier. He said they played well in the morning and carried that play into the afternoon.
