Meta unveiled new smart glasses and Meta Charm, a keychain device with Muse’s real-time voice and avatar features. Former Meta CTO Mike Schroepfer called Mark Zuckerberg “in founder mode” and said he would not bet against the company.
Schroepfer said public opinion of Meta can swing from praise to criticism much faster than the company’s underlying work changes. Zuckerberg said some of the new glasses have no cameras, allowing different designs.
Sozzi described Muse as a top-downloaded app and said investors were beginning to see Meta’s heavy capital spending come to life. In his view, monetization could come soon, though not necessarily in the current quarter.
