Florida rose to No. 3 in Yahoo Sports’ college football Top 10 after routing Ole Miss 52-28 at home in Week 4. Texas remains No. 1 and Ohio State No. 2; the Gators have scored 44 points at Auburn and 52 against the Rebels in their last two games.
Rounding out the Top 10 were Miami at No. 4, Alabama at No. 5, Ole Miss at No. 6, Notre Dame at No. 7, Georgia at No. 8, Mississippi State at No. 9 and Utah at No. 10.
Yahoo Sports cited Florida’s control of the line of scrimmage and ground game as reasons the Gators could pose problems for the rest of the league. First-year coach Jon Sumrall’s team visits Missouri next week.
