The trailer for “Ozzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning” previews Osbourne’s final performance with the band, filmed at Birmingham’s Villa Park on July 5, 2025. The concert film opens worldwide for a limited cinema run on Oct. 28; Osbourne died 17 days later, aged 76.
The show reunited Osbourne with original Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for the first time in more than 20 years. More than three million ticket requests were made for 44,000 available places; performers included Metallica and Guns N’ Roses.
In the trailer, Sharon Osbourne says Ozzy had been told he probably would not make it through the show, but insisted on performing. The 2-hour-30-minute film also includes behind-the-scenes footage and tributes from musicians inspired by him and Black Sabbath.
