Enes Kanter calls for Cheryl Reeve to step down over transgender-athlete stance

Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom called for Minnesota Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve to step down after she said supporting transgender athletes was one of her biggest achievements of 2026. He also challenged Reeve to draft him in the 2027 WNBA Draft.

In a post on X, Kanter argued that protecting women's sports is not an attack on anyone's existence or an erasure of a community, and accused Reeve of hypocrisy.
