Dodge & Cox Stock Fund added KKR as a new holding in Q2 2026, saying its private-credit and software exposures were manageable and not overly concentrated. The fund also cited KKR’s diversified businesses and alignment between management and shareholders.

KKR closed at $97.21 on Sept. 23, 2026, down 11.08% over the month and 28.34% over the year, with a market capitalization of $89.78 billion. Dodge & Cox said the decline came amid broader economic concerns and potential weakness in private-credit and software investments.

The fund said KKR traded at 13.6 times forward earnings. Insider Monkey’s database showed 77 hedge fund portfolios held KKR at the end of Q2 2026, compared with 82 in the previous quarter.
