The Eagles listed DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley as not practicing Thursday before Monday’s Week 3 game against Chicago. Saquon Barkley was limited with a stinger; Smith was listed with a hamstring injury.
Smith’s hamstring injury had no reported severity. Goedert (knee) is expected to miss multiple games; ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that he is expected to avoid injured reserve. Barkley reportedly expects to play Monday. Jalen Carter, Jonathan Greenard and Andrew Mukuba were also limited; Tyler Steen fully participated.
The Bears’ Thursday injury report was an estimate because the team did not practice that day. It listed six nonparticipants, including quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) and backup Tyson Bagent (concussion protocol). Coach Ben Johnson said Williams would not practice ahead of Monday’s game and described him as week-to-week; Bagent could still be cleared before Monday.
