Clark had 27 points, nine assists and seven rebounds in Indiana's 96-77 win over top-seeded Minnesota on Tuesday. Her 30.2 points and 10 assists per game over the last five games make her the first WNBA player to post those averages across any five-game span.
Indiana is likely to secure the No. 5 playoff seed, with its regular-season finale against Minnesota set for Thursday. If it gets that seed, it would face the Atlanta Dream in a first-round rematch of last season's series.
Clark's five-game run began Aug. 23, before she went to Germany with the U.S. national team and won the FIBA Women's World Cup. During the stretch, she also averaged 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 steals, while shooting 49% from the field and 44.9% from three-point range.
