Model Charlotte D’Alessio paid tribute on Instagram to her former boyfriend Presley Gerber on Sept. 25, five days after his death at 27. She shared photos and videos of the pair and wrote, “Love you so much Pres.”
Gerber and D’Alessio dated for two years beginning in 2018. In her caption, she also wrote that they were “connected for life” and that she would talk to him soon.
The PEOPLE report described Gerber’s death as an apparent overdose and said Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records obtained by the outlet place his death at a rehab facility. Gerber had spoken publicly about mental health, depression and substance-use struggles; a family representative previously asked for privacy.
