Camilla prompted Kate and Queen Máxima to face forward at 2019 Garter ceremony

At the 2019 Order of the Garter ceremony, then-Duchess of Cambridge Kate and Queen Máxima became absorbed in conversation and nearly missed part of the procession. Camilla tapped Máxima on the shoulder, reminding both women to face forward as it passed.

King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands was receiving an Order of the Garter honour at the ceremony; Spain's King Felipe also attended. Founded in 1348, the order recognizes contributions to public service and is limited to 24 active members.
