Belden, an unincorporated settlement in Northern California’s Feather River Canyon, is listed for $4.75 million. The roughly four-acre property includes 18 hotel rooms, seven cabins, 16 RV spaces, a store, restaurant and bar, plus Feather River frontage and beach access.
The listing also includes a lifetime lease for adjacent Forest Service land that can be used for camping. A nearby five-acre parcel used for overflow parking and event support is available separately for $500,000, or can be leased at no cost for parking. Other included facilities include a commercial kitchen, outdoor event spaces, staff housing and storage buildings.
Despite the seller’s invitation to “be your own mayor,” Belden is an unincorporated census-designated place, not a municipality. The 2020 Census counted 15 residents; Belden has no municipal government or official mayor, and Plumas County handles government oversight and public services.
