Bayern Munich has received €300,000 after Omar Richards moved from Nottingham Forest to Aris Thessaloniki for €2 million this summer. When it sold the defender in 2022, Bayern had secured a 15% share of any future resale.
Richards joined Bayern from Reading on a free transfer in 2021 and moved to Forest for around €9 million in 2022. A hairline fracture in his leg, diagnosed after his first Forest training session, kept him out for the entire season. He later had loan spells at Olympiacos and Rio Ave before the move to Aris.
