Bayern Munich is monitoring the market for a left-wing backup to Luis Díaz, Bild reporters Heiko Niedderer and Christian Falk report. The club could move in January if the right opportunity arises, but no specific player has emerged as a concrete option.
Díaz has been manager Vincent Kompany’s main starter on the left but is in a slight dip in form; Colombia coach Néstor Lorenzo gave him the international break off to rest. Jamal Musiala, Lennart Karl, Serge Gnabry and Olise can also play there, but Bayern remains open to adding cover.
Bayern will need to rotate during the season’s “English Weeks,” the article says. Musiala is sidelined for 3–4 weeks with a muscle-fiber injury.
