Apple stock outlook: $1,000 could become about $1,464 by 2030

Motley Fool

Motley Fool contributor Chris Neiger estimates that $1,000 invested in Apple shares now could be worth about $1,464 by September 2030, assuming roughly 12% annual returns for four years. He says this is a guess, not a guaranteed outcome.

Neiger’s estimate assumes Apple keeps growing revenue at its current pace and benefits from its expanding services business, new Siri AI and broader iPhone lineup, including iPhone Duo. He also cites geopolitical instability, rising U.S. debt, higher interest rates and concerns about rogue AI as possible sources of volatility.

Apple had about $117 billion in operating cash flow over the previous nine months and estimates its current-quarter gross margin at about 48%. Neiger contrasts Apple’s strategy of selling high-end devices for access to AI agents with competitors’ spending on AI models and large data centers.
