Angel Reese practices after face injury; Game 1 status remains unconfirmed

After Angel Reese took a hard elbow to the face and left Atlanta's regular-season finale, coach Karl Smesko said she had completed a couple of good practices and was in great spirits. He did not confirm whether she will play in Game 1 against Washington.

The Dream beat the New York Liberty 83-65 to close the regular season. Reese did not return after Sabrina Ionescu elbowed her in the face.
