Meta's newly announced enterprise unit aims to sell businesses a “full-stack” AI platform, analyst Ali Mogharabi said. He said the strategy's success remains uncertain and depends on earning companies' trust.
Mogharabi described the offer as including a Muse agent for employees' routine tasks, a Meta Business Agent that the company says can handle some CRM work, and the Muse API for building AI agents. He said the push could diversify revenue beyond advertising and help Meta earn returns on its AI investments by monetizing data centers.
Mogharabi said Meta had failed in previous attempts to enter enterprise software and now faces established competitors such as Microsoft and CRM providers. He said there are few enterprise or business-to-business metrics to gauge traction. He also said digital advertising could become more cyclical as it moves more closely with the wider economy.
