Alabama led South Carolina 35-10 at halftime after its offense scored on four consecutive drives. Keelon Russell’s passing attack produced a 70-yard touchdown for Lotzeirr Brooks, while Red Morgan returned an interception for a score.
Ryan Coleman-Williams scored on consecutive drives, and Josh Ford capped the half with a one-handed touchdown catch in the back of the end zone.
South Carolina opened with a run of more than 50 yards, and Alabama’s first possession ended in a three-and-out. The Tide defense later allowed a long, uncontested touchdown after Dijon Lee fell near the end of the half.
