Air Force edges Nevada in double overtime to close Mountain West Week 4

Air Force beat Nevada 36-33 in double overtime to close Mountain West Week 4; the other five games were decided by at least 17 points. UNLV (38-10), Georgia State (35-14), Wyoming (27-10), New Mexico (42-18) and Oregon State (33-7) also won.

Air Force quarterback Liam Szarka accounted for 263 of the Falcons’ 455 yards, and the team ran for 363 yards and three touchdowns. Nevada rallied from a 10-point deficit with 5:56 left to force overtime, but Air Force won in the second extra period.

UNLV led Akron 14-10 at halftime and shut out the Zips afterward; Jackson Arnold passed for 290 yards and three touchdowns. Wyoming held Hawaii to 10 points, while New Mexico forced four turnovers in beating rival New Mexico State.
